- Before you attempt to register as a user on the Student Web Site, your instructor will need to place you in their class. You will know when this has occurred because you will be sent an email with the subject line: MHHE Keyboarding Application Student Registration. If you have not yet received this email, contact you instructor. In this email you will be supplied a password you should use the first time you log on to the system. After you have logged onto the system for the first time, it is highly recommended that you change your password to something you can remember easily.
- When you access SWS from the software's Web Options, your browser launches the Student Web Site and goes to the log on page. On the log on page, type your e-mail address in the Your e-mail address field and the password supplied to you in the email from your instructor in the Your password field.
- Click Log On to go to the Student Web Site.Note: You can change the personal password sent to you by your instructor to one that is easier to remember. At the SWS log on screen, click the Change Password link. You will have to use the current password from the email in order to create a new password. When you change your password, you will receive a new email that contains your new password.
- Once you receive the e-mail with your personal password (it should take only a minute or two), you are registered on the site. On the log on page, re-enter your e-mail address if it is not already there, type your new personal password, and click Log On. (You can change your personal password at any time by clicking Change Password on the log-on page.)
- Your registration information is now complete, and you have successfully logged on to the SWS site.
- If you are unable to successfully complete the steps above, please contact the McGraw-Hill Companies Technical Support line at 1-800-331-5094 or online at http://www.mhhe.com/support.
